PM snubs the Queen

Australia is a constitutional monarchy in name only following unconditional support from Prime Minister John Howard for the military show trial of a citizen held captive in a foreign prison.

Howard's abandonment of due process over the detention of David Hicks at Guantanamo Bay is a direct attack on the nation's sovereignty held, according to the Constitution of Australia, by Queen Elizabeth II.

A former solicitor, Howard has made a calculated decision to replace the Constitution with allegiance to his lawless ally.

A constitution empowering a Prime Minister who exhibits contempt for due process is a paradox from which sovereignty must be withdrawn in the preservation of law and order.

The method of Howard's removal and replacement with sovereignty derived from a republic comprising women's and men's legislatures presided over by an executive of elders accompanied by courts of women's and men's jurisdiction, is the only barrier to the resurrection of due process.
