Philip served an apprenticeship with the audio-visual artist Roger Foley [Ellis D. Fogg] in Sydney during the 1970s and has since painted and exhibited extensively in St Kilda, The Dandenong Ranges and on the Mornington Peninsula in his family's home state of Victoria.
Currently a resident of Redfern, Philip holds a Bachelor of Arts [Edith Cowan, 1994] in Aboriginal, Intercultural and Justice Studies and authors and edits the internet site 2mf.net.
